Nowadays it is tough to get away from celebrities, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion.  Social media such as Youtube has really put a cramp on “just having fun” conversations.

Finding anything to talk about that is not contentious is challenging.

I am pleased to bring a fun and engaging Pooh slideshow presentation.  During arrival mingle time I can also share fun Winnie the Pooh Quiz Questions and Winnie-the-Pooh quotes with a musical background.

There is nothing I relish doing more than share tales of my collecting adventures so if you need forty-five minutes or 4 hours filled – I am kinda like a gas and can fill any time frame you need.

A brief background:

I am flattered to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have broken my own record numerous times.  My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached in excess of 27,000.  Who knew there were so many items.

I very much love collecting Pooh “items”.   Many Lake Placid individuals consider stuffed animals, figurines or books when they envision the memorabilia.  The collection, however, includes so much more: tea pots, necklaces, t-shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests people most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many great “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people.  I would appreciate meeting your amazing invitees in Lake Placid.
