Nowadays it is difficult to get away from celebs, athletes or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion.  Social media such as Twitter has really put a cramp on “just having fun” discussions.

Finding anything to chat about that is not controversial is a challenge.

Well, if you are looking for a speaker in Colgate who is not a stars, athletes, politician and who is above average in fun you have come to the right place.

I would appreciate sharing my collecting experience with the invitees at your next Colgate luncheon or gathering.

I am thrilled to bring a fun and engaging Winnie-the-Pooh slideshow presentation.  During arrival mingle time I can also share entertaining Pooh Quiz Questions and Winnie-the-Pooh quotes with a musical background.

There is nothing I enjoy doing more than share accounts of my collecting adventures so if you need forty-five minutes or four hours filled – I am kinda like a gas and can fill any time frame you need.

A brief background:

I am honored to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have smashed my own record several times.  My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed to over 27,000.  Who knew there were so many items.

I very much love collecting Winnie-the-Pooh “items”.   Many Colgate people consider plush, figurines or books when they imagine the memorabilia.  The collection, however, is comprised of so much more: plates, bracelets, sweatshirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests invitees most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many wonderful “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people.  I would love meeting your amazing invitees in Colgate.
