an amusing and fun subject in Guthrie?

These days it is tough to get away from celebrities, athletes or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as Twitter has really put a cramp on “just having fun” conversations.

Finding anything to talk about that is not contentious is a challenge.

Well, if you are looking for a speaker in Guthrie who is not a celebs, sports persons, politician and who is above average in fun you have come to the right place.

I would appreciate sharing my collecting experience with the guests at your next Guthrie meeting or party.

I am pleased to bring a entertaining and engaging Pooh slideshow presentation. During arrival mingle time I can also share entertaining Pooh Quiz Questions and Winnie the Pooh quotes with a musical background.

There is nothing I appreciate doing more than share accounts of my collecting adventures so if you need 45 minutes or four hours filled – I am much like a gas and can fill any time frame you need.

A brief background:

I am flattered to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have broken my own record multiple times. My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed in excess of 27,000. Who knew there were so many items.

I very much love collecting Pooh “items”. Many Guthrie individuals think of stuffies, figurines or books when they visualize the keepsakes. The collection, however, takes into account so much more: cooking tools, jewelry, t-shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many amazing “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would relish meeting your amazing guests in Guthrie.
